Agreement to terms

By using CurioFrame (games.curioframe.app, movies.curioframe.app, and every other part of curioframe.app), you agree to these terms. CurioFrame can be played fully anonymously; creating an account, subscribing to Premium, or submitting puzzle requests all mean you've agreed to the terms below for that activity.

The service

CurioFrame is a daily frame-guessing puzzle game across games, movies, and anime. Puzzles, content, and features may change, be added, or be removed at any time, and the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis with no guarantee of uninterrupted access.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when signing up, and let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, including the acceptable use rules below.

Premium membership & billing

• Premium is a recurring monthly subscription, billed and processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each billing period until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time from the Billing Portal on your Account page. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium access through the end of the period you've already paid for, then the account reverts to the free tier.
• Charges are non-refundable except where required by law. Contact support if you believe you were charged in error.
• Prices may change going forward; we'll make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers before a price change takes effect on their next renewal.

Donations

One-time donations made via the Support page are voluntary and non-refundable, and don't grant Premium access or any other perk on their own.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass, automate, or abuse the puzzle-guessing mechanic (e.g. scripting guesses, scraping answers) in a way that undermines the game for other players.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, its infrastructure, or other users' ability to use it.
• Use the service for anything unlawful, or submit puzzle requests or account information that's abusive, misleading, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data that isn't your own.

Puzzle requests

Premium members can submit titles they'd like to see turned into future puzzles. Submitting a request doesn't guarantee it will be built; requests are reviewed at our discretion as inspiration for future content, and we may decline or ignore any request for any reason.

Intellectual property

CurioFrame's own design, code, and puzzle presentation are owned by us. Game, movie, and anime titles, imagery, and other third-party properties referenced in puzzles remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and commentary purposes as part of the puzzle format.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

CurioFrame is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CurioFrame and its operator aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You can stop using CurioFrame and delete your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate access for violating these terms, without it affecting any obligations (like billing already incurred) that arose before termination.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as CurioFrame changes. Meaningful changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
